Job Description

As a Cybersecurity Auditor, you will join the IT Audit department, which is part of a wider Business Audit division (80 professionals across 4 competence centers). Within this structure, you will be specifically assigned to the Benelux & Nordics Hub.

Your mission is to:

  • Perform cybersecurity audits—primarily on applications used within the group (internal and external), but also on broader cybersecurity topics.

  • Conduct assignments ("missions") that typically last 3–4 months, during which you will analyze IT systems, assess risks (particularly around cybersecurity and resilience), and evaluate internal controls.

  • Deliver clear, concise, and actionable recommendations to management—note that you will not be implementing these solutions yourself.

  • Occasionally travel to client sites, mainly in the Nordics (1–2 weeks per year).

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with the right mix of technical expertise and strong communication skills.

Must-haves:

  • Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field.

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in cybersecurity.

  • Fluency in English (written & spoken).

  • Ability to obtain an internal audit certification within 2 years.

Soft skills:

  • Strong analytical mindset, able to synthesize complex information.

  • Clear, concise, and to-the-point communication style.

  • Ability to present technical findings in a simple, structured way.

Offer

  • A permanent contract with an attractive salary package including a mobility budget, bonus, meal vouchers, pension plan, health insurance and many other perks.

  • A central Brussels office location with excellent transport links.

  • A healthy work-life balance, with a hybrid work policy (50% remote).

  • A collaborative and international environment, with exposure to assignments across Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and the Nordics.

  • Ongoing learning opportunities, including audit and cybersecurity training, and long-term career prospects within a large international group.

Organization and Department Description

My client is an international company with a very strong presence in Belgium. Their offices are located in the heart of Brussels, just steps away from Central Station. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic IT audit team where your expertise in cybersecurity will directly contribute to strengthening resilience and security across the group. If you are looking for an intellectually stimulating role with international exposure, this position is for you.
