As the it support engineer, your work will be separated in 2 aspects:

  • As a member of a small it support team, you will be responsible for providing internal 1st line IT support to your colleagues in a company of +/- 60 collaborators : IT equipment, Windows installation and configuration, O365 account management, network and monitoring, printers, … in collaboration with external partners
  • You will conduct the realisation of IT projects relative to provided IT services to the company like cloud telephony migration, network equipment renewal, etc…
  • On the one hand you will find solution for the technical issues of our merchants that your first line colleague could not solve
  • On the other hand, you are responsible for the 2nd line helpdesk for internal IT issues (hardware, applications, …)


You will work with our CEO, our Sales Director, our CMO & Marketing team, the sales team under your supervision (4 FTE), the Innovation and product management team of the company.

  • You receive and deal with unsolved technical questions from your colleagues (second line), both by telephone and by e-mail, mostly from a customer care team
  • You look for the appropriate solution to the problems or complaints of the internal clients. You work closely with your direct colleagues and other services to find the best solution for the client
  • You ensure affiliated merchants have their payment terminal correctly activated within the agreed period using and configuring appropriate backoffice tools. You solve technical problems in collaboration with our various partners and escalate third line technical problems to the IT team
  • As a second-line internal helpdesk, you investigate and solve hardware and software problems of your colleagues, form connectivity to printer, or account access issues
  • You maintain computer systems, telefony and internal networks


  • You have a bachelor degree in IT – or equivalent – and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar function
  • You have basic knowledge and experience performing SQL queries using any database client tool for reporting purposes
  • You understand network management and related hardware
  • You can speak and write in French and Dutch
  • You have a strong analytical and problem solver attitude
  • You have a great interest in IT and hardware technology in general
  • Proactive and good communicator
  • Resistant to stress
  • Your are organized and able to prioritize the incoming emergencies as they arrive in the IT support.
  • You are supportive to the company values which are excellence, mutual aid and commitment

Is considered an advantage :

  • Experience with reporting tools, like Metabase
  • Experience with the Atlassian suite, Jira, Confluence and Jira Service Management tools is a plus
  • Any experience in the digital payment sector is a plus
  • Interest and/or experience in web application development
