IT Support Engineer German Speaker Lixhe


Job description The IT Customer Care Technician’s role is to contribute to the smooth operation of the Support Centre and the company computer network. This includes planning, configuring, installing, maintaining network hardware, software, and communication links whilst ensuring minimal network downtime occurs. Diagnosis, resolving and documenting hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion, providing end users with appropriate assistance, in collaboration with IT Correspondants on sites. Responsibility for managing all procedures related to the identification, prioritization, and resolution of end user requests, including the monitoring, tracking, and coordination of Support functions.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
? Provide technical support. Answering support queries either onsite or via phone or email
? Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries
? Take ownership of user problems from the ITSM ticketing tool - be proactive when dealing with user issues.
? Implement, managing and maintaining workstations
? Perform installations, upgrades & deployment of workstations to Microsoft Windows 10
? Troubleshooting & Problem solving of Workstation related problems
? Imaging and preparing assets such as laptops and mobile devices for deployment to users,
ensuring assets are tagged and entered into the asset management system
? Carrying out routine maintenance of IT systems
? Support users in the use of Computer equipment by providing necessary training and advice
? Local assistance for the L2/L3 System Administrators (Server, Network, Application, ERP)
? Experience in “Knowledge Article” documentation, IT & end user procedures
? Ensure Service Level Agreement are adhered too
? Local contact person for assistance in IT projects led by the Group.
? Travels on sites located in Germany (15% to 20% of the time)
Profile ? At least 3 years of experience in IT Support
? English and German speaking
? Microsoft advanced knowledge (workstations and servers)
? Administration experience of MS Active Directory users & groups, policies and management concepts
? Helpdesk Experience (ServiceNow)
? Excellent Interpersonal skills
? Outstanding Client Service Skills
? Pro-active skills
